* You are required to submit the renewal application 3 months prior to your visa expiry date

* Visa renewal will be process with good attendance (80% and above) and good result (CGPA 2.00 and above). Kindly prepare a letter of explanation if you have below 80% attendance and poor results

* Kindly submit together with original passport (IF REQUIRED) and payment need to be made upon submission of the application

* RM 150 will be charged for late submission (less than 14 days of visa expiry)

I hereby declare that I will abide by the regulations of the institution, all rules and regulations of regulatory bodies inclusive of Malaysia Immigration Department, Education Malaysia Global Services (EMGS) and Ministry of Education as well as law of Malaysia.

I hereby undertake the responsibility to ensure that my Student Pass is to be submitted for renewal at least 3 months prior to expiry date of my Student Pass and ensure the validity of my Student Pass throughout my studentship.

I am aware that institution will have absolute discretion to terminate my studentship and to cancel my Student Pass due to any of the following reasons:

 
(a) Failure to attend classes for 3 consecutive days and failure to inform the institution of my reasons; 
Failure to attend class for 3 consecutive days without valid reason, and the institution deems that the reasons for my absence from the institution are unacceptable;
(b) Failure to inform the institution in writing of any change of address or contact telephone number while I am in Malaysia;
(c) Act in beach of the rules and regulations of the Malaysian Immigration Department or gain full time or part time employment in Malaysia outside the Employment 
Guidelines for International Students;
(d) Failure to pay all outstanding fees due to time;
(e) Failure to conform to academic performance standard and academic regulations;
(f) Failure to ensure Student Pass is submitted for renewal on time; and
(g) Any other breach of Malaysian laws and regulations, including those pertaining to international students.

In the event of breach of any of the above, I understand the following consequences

(a) The institution reserves the right to cancel my Student Pass and not issue me with a release letter, and my instead require me to return to my home country.
(b) A report will be lodged against me as a pre-requisite for the cancellation of my Student Pass by the Malaysian Immigration Department and that I might be 
permanently barred from entering Malaysia.
(c) All fee paid will not be refundable.

I am aware that the Personal Bond/Deposit will not refunded due to any of the following reasons:

(a) Misuse of Student Pass and violation of regulations applicable to International students in Malaysia;
(b) In the event, where the institution is required to intervene with law enforcement agencies as a result of any non-compliance, deductions will be made from the 
Personal Bond to recover the cost of doing so.
(c) Failure to shorten my Student Pass upon completion of my programme. 

International Student are not allowed to change the course of study , once the visa has been applied. International Students are required to re-apply for a new Student Pass (Visa) should they decide to change the programme.

I have read and understood the above and do hereby agree to abide by the terms and conditions specified herein.

PASSPORT PHOTO GUIDELINES

Please find below the photo guidelines for submitting a passport photo to EMGS. Kindly note that this is important since the same picture will be used on the immigration System as well as printed on the iKad.

Institution will be requested to adhere to the guidelines below to avoid any delay in processing as well as avoiding any untoward issues with law enforcement officials checking the iKad.

1. In color and identical, not black and white
2. Taken against a WHITE background
3. Your photos must be professionally printed and 45 millimeters (mm) high x 35mm wide.Please do not use photos that have been cut down from larger pictures.
In the examples below, the one on the left shows the correct proportions. The image on the right shows incorrect proportions.
   
4.  Note to Institutions: When scanning and uploading the passport picture in STARS please ensure that there is no white border surrounding the photo as this may affect 
the dimensions of the image. Therefore, please remove the white border before uploading the student's picture. In example below, the one on the left shows the 
correct proportions. The image on the right shows incorrect proportions.
   
5. Free from reflection or glare on spectacles, the frames of which must not cover the eyes.  We recommend photographs without spectacles to avoid the risk of rejection 
because of glare or reflection.
6. Because clothing is visible in the passport photo, subject should be careful to wear something modest. We recommend that you wear dark-colored attire (this includes 
headscarves) so as to be in clear contrast to the white background. A conservative top is best. Do not wear something open shoulders (such as a tank top).
7. Free from shadows.
8. Digital enhancements or changes are not acceptable
9. Taken with the eyes open and clearly visible (with no sunglasses or tinted spectacles, and no hair across the eyes)- if possible
10. With the subject facing forward, looking straight at the camera
11. With a neutral expression with the mouth closed (no grinning, frowning or raised eyebrows)
12. Of each person on their own (no objects such as dummies or toys, or other people visible)
13. Taken with nothing covering the face
14. In sharp focus and clear
15. Free from "redeye"
16. Taken of the full head, without any covering unless worn for religious or medical reasons.
17. Make sure the facial features are clearly visible, from the bottom of the chin to the crown of the head
18. Printed professionally or taken in a passport photo booth. Photos printed at home are unlikely to be of an acceptable standard
19. Have the person's full name on the back of each photograph (when submitted manually)
